Tennis Facilities - Court Surfaces
The Waterside has two court surfaces to choose from.  Both surfaces are noted for their ease on the body as compared to traditional painted hard courts

Uni-Turf

Waterside's 3 Uni-Turf courts are a rubberized hard court surface, under a bubble year-round.  They are air-conditioned / climate controlled for your comfort.

HAR-TRU® Clay

Our recently refurbished HAR-TRU® courts are under bubble during the fall/winter season, and open for outdoor play in the spring/summer term.  With the harbourfront as a backdrop, the view is a delight.

Game Arranging

Game arranging is a very important part of the club's programming success. When you join, you will receive a tennis assessment with a pro, and receive a rating that will help the club arrange games for you.

Don't know any tennis players?  With this service you soon will!

Gameseeker is truly the easiest and fastest way to meet other members and enrich your skills by playing against a variety of opponent's tennis styles.

How does it work?  Reserve a "Gameseeker" court online where members will find your listing, or browse the list of other gameseekers and join in with anyone that matches your tennis rating.  This service is so successful, we help an average of 200 members a week to coordinate matches with each other!!

Social Events

Waterside Sports Club has one of the most beautiful settings on the water in downtown Toronto.  It is a terrific venue for parties, so we take advantage of this by hosting at least one club event every month.  It is always a nice mix of club members, their guests, and the general public.
